Amanda is a Registered Veterinary Technician with experience in clinic and emergency hospital settings. She also has a background in medical equipment sales and obtained her Bachelor of Business Administration degree. She is passionate about animal welfare as well as creating a positive clinic experience for staff and clients behind the scenes.
Amanda enjoys spending time with her two small children, husband, and German Shepherd named Ava. She also enjoys volunteering for the Peterborough and District of Wapiti Metis Council and spending time at their cottage on Manitoulin Island. Be sure to ask Amanda about her 13-year-old goldfish!

Nicole graduated from the Veterinary Assistant program at Durham College in 2013. Animals have been her passion since she was young, and she knew this was the perfect career for her. She started her journey in Veterinary Medicine at a high-volume clinic in Oshawa and bloomed from there. She has always had a passion for exotic animals and pocket pets and is so thankful she has had the opportunity to work with these critters in her veterinary medicine career.
Nicole shares her home with her Fiancé Tyler and her 2 dogs Sadie and Bronco and 3 cats, Hemi, Roni, and Vinny. She enjoys camping and summer nights in her backyard oasis. She also keeps busy with her small Home Décor business, Dixie Town Décor & Customs where she specializes in woodworking and hosting DIY Doormat Workshops!
Nicole joined our team in January 2020 and she couldn’t be happier to continue practicing Veterinary Medicine with such a caring and loving team! She is very excited to get to know your fur babies and love them like her own!

Anna graduated with honours from the Animal care program at Durham College in 2013 and started her career at a high-volume clinic in Toronto. Over the years Anna has learned many new skills from her fellow mentors and continuing education. Anna joined the Rice Lake Animal Hospital team in 2018, bringing a wide range of technical skills. Anna has a special interest in dentistry and dermatology.
Anna has a few pets of her own including her dog Shyla, cat Stella, a mini-Rex rabbit named Pirate and her horse Chloe. Outside of work Anna can be found spending time on the farm, horseback riding with her daughter or simple enjoying the finer things in life.

Hilary graduated with honours from the Animal Care program at Durham College in 2014. She decided to change careers after working in Human Resources for a few years as something was missing. Hilary has always had an extra big smile on her face when she is around animals. Pursuing a job that would allow her to be around animals and help them just made sense.
After completing the Animal Care program, Hilary went on to graduate with honours from the Animal Grooming program at Northern College in 2015. She worked at a high volume clinic right out of school and knew she made the right decision for her future. Hilary joined the Rice Lake Animal Hospital team in 2018 and loves meeting new clients and patients every day.
She spends her free time with her stubborn Samoyed, Riot and her two humorous Persians, Sprout and Tybalt. Hilary and her husband enjoy photography and bird watching in their free time.

Mandy has always loved animals and graduated from the Veterinary Assistant program at Durham College in 2013. Since graduating Mandy has worked in general and emergency practice. Mandy joined the RLAH team in February 2022 and hasn’t looked back since. She loves working with such an amazing group of people and looks forward to building bonds with our clients and patients.
Mandy and her boyfriend live on a farm where they raise cattle, goats, and chickens. They also have 4 dogs; Zeus, Lois, Rose-Anne, and Dwight, as well as 3 sassy cats; Kiki, Tina, and Philip. In Mandy’s spare time she enjoys spending time with all her animals and going on adventures.

Kim graduated from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College in Toronto in 1994. Then, combining both her love for animals and her experience and skills as a chiropractor, she attended the Veterinary Chiropractic Learning Centre in 2008, where she is currently co-director and an instructor. Kim is further certified with the College of Animal Chiropractors and devotes much of her time to education and the evolution of Animal Chiropractic in Canada.
Since giving up her human practice to focus on animal chiropractics, her patients now consist mainly of horses, cats, and dogs. Kim’s calm, gentle touch should put animals (and owners) at ease to allow her to address a variety of muscle, joint, and related nerve issues.
Kim shares her life with her cat, Daisy, and much loved 4-legged companions Reggie & Dazzle. In her spare time, Kim, Reggie and Dazzle compete in the dog sport of Dock Jumping.

Arden started her career in the human medicine field as a Respiratory Therapist. She switched to animal medicine in 2019 working in the emergency field prior to joining the Rice Lake Team. She enjoys coming to work to see all the furry faces!
Outside of work Arden and her husband live on a farm with cattle, chickens, llama’s, goats, and over 200 sheep. They also have 3 border collies, Sadie, Rue, and Prin to help keep all the livestock in check. It is never a dull moment on the farm.
When she is not working at the clinic or on the farm Arden is a volunteer Firefighter for Hamilton Township where she enjoys working with and giving back to her community. Arden joined the Rice Lake team in August of 2022 and has thoroughly enjoyed working with the entire team and clients!
